The internet based news site, 'We Are Barnsley' (WAB) have accompanied us on two operations recently. Nicky Hyde, the journalist responsible for the website came on our Drugs Dog Operation where we took our 'sniffer dog' into local pubs to see who was in possession of, or who had recently been in contact with any controlled drugs. She filmed officers and members of the public in and around the pubs and clubs in the Hoyland SNT area and published an excellent piece on their website.
Nicky also accompanied us on our traffic operation and again, presented an excellent video explaining why we were conducting such an operation. I would like to thank Nicky for taking the time to come out with us and provide members of our local community with an insight into what we are doing and why we are doing it.
