On the 28th Sept, officers were on foot patrol on Monkspring, Worsbrough Dale when they spotted two scooters pulling wheelies. One of the scooter riders pulled over when requested by the officers but the other rider fled the scene not before officers managed to take down his registration plate details. The rider who pulled over was dealt with by means of a warning at the side of the road. The other rider had his scooter seized later in the evening for failing to stop and careless riding, he already has a warning against him for a similar offence earlier in the year. This means he will have to pay £150.00 in recovery costs. The Kendray & Worsbrough SNT take a tough stance on motor vehicle users who flaunt traffic laws. This incident once again proves the effectiveness of the powers officers have at their disposal to easily deal with incidents like this.
