Speeding vehicles in Micklebring and in particular on Greaves Sike Lane
3/4/10 - Liaison made with our Road Policing Group regarding the problem for their attention and any assistance.
3/4/10 - Liason with DMBC regarding referring the issue to highways department.
7/04/10 - We have liaised with the Safety Camera Partnership, who are going to take a look at the location in question, and hopefull ybe able to offer us some assistance.
20/4/10 - Speed checks conducted on Greaves Sike Lane. The vast majority of motorists were within the speed limit with only two vehicles very slightly exceeding it.
20/4/10 - Further liaison done with DMBC highways concerning the existing speed display sign which may be faulty, and to look the possibility of temporarily installing speed and volumes of traffic measuring strips.
21/4/10 - Speed checks conducted. One motorist advised regarding slight excessive speed.
5/5/10 - Speed checks conducted on Greaves Syke Lane, Micklebring. Only two motorists slightly breaking the speed limit but not to prosecutable levels. Checks also conducted at Ashton Lane and Doncaster Road, Braithwell. No motorists found to be speeding.
12/5/10 - Checks conducted in Micklebring. Very little traffic passing at the time patrolled. Following the referall to highways, the "Your speed is" sign is now fully operational again after having a faulty radar fixed. Highways have also agreed to increase visibility by installing some red tarmac and gateway features when their work schedule permits.

12/02/10 - Patrols at St Mary's School. Very quiet with regards to the number of parents using vehicles, however, one motorist was advised regarding parking.
17/02/10 - Due to school half term, speed checks were conducted in Wadworth, Braithwell and Stainton. Five motorists were advised regarding their speed, two elected to go on a speed awareness course to avoid prosecution and one motorist was given a fixed penalty ticket.
24/02/10 - Officers from DMBC's parking enforcement patrolled in Tickhill paying particular attention to the schools.

12/02/10 - Patrols of Carr Lane and Daw Lane at Wadowrth, no tipping found.
13/02/10 - Patrols were made of Apy Hill Lane and Limekiln Lane. No evidence of fly tipping found.
19/02/10 - South Yorkshire Police, DMBC, VOSA, Customs and Excise took part in an operation, primarily aimed at stopping commercial vehicles potentially carrying trade waste. In total 81 vehicles were stopped,
SYP issued 5 fixed penalty notices for various offences and one notice for no road tax,
DMBC advised 7 motorists about waste licences and prosecuted 3 for carrying trade waste without a licence,
VOSA prohibited 7 vehicles with defects,
Customs and Excise issued a £500 fine to one motorist for using red diesel

08/01/10 - Regular mobile patrols were conducted during the evening. Nobody was seen in the area.
09/01/10 - Regular mobile patrols were conducted during the evening. Some further information was received about the recent spate of damages and shed breaks which the SNT are looking into.
14/01/10 - Two males have been arrested in relation to the spate of damages and shed breaks in Tickhill. They are currently on Police bail.
15/01/10 - Patrols during the evening. Two males stopped and searched to no gain.
16/01/10 - Patrols during the evning.

Since the 12th December upto the 22nd December numerous patrols have been conducted by officers from South Yorkshire Police and by officers from DMBC. There has been no evidence of any fly tipping during that period.

18/12/09 A door to door survey was carried out by PCSO and council workers. Local residents were asked if anti social behaviour was a problem. All agreed there had been no problems in the area. The local scout leader states that since letters had been sent to parents of young children earlier in the year, no further incidents had been reported around the scout hut.
The survey findings backed up what SNT officers found whilst patrolling the area. No children were seen, or offences committed.
22/12/09 DMBC's Neighbourhood response team, have continued to patrol in the Tickill area regarding the local priorities. On this evening patrols were conducted in the area of St Marys Road. Whilst there were some local youths about, they were all behaving in an orderly manner.

24/09/09. Refuse found dumped on Sheepwash Lane, evidence within has led to DMBC enforcement team dealing with a suspect from the Bircotes area.

21/8/09. Area visited by officers who were attending the connexions bus, several local youths engaged with, no anti social behaviour experienced, all youths in good humour.

1/9/09. Area attended, several youths in area, 1 youth over 18 in possession of alcohol and moved from area.
12/9/09. Area visited by officers, several youths caught on Cricket field drinking alcohol. 4 young people taken home to parents and details obtained for warning letters to be sent out.
18/9/09. officers from Rossington deviated shifts to patrol this area, from 6pm until 1.30am. Several youths were taken home to parents, and some parents were contacted to collect their offspring from Main Street and Church Lane areas. 1 male was issued with a fixed penalty notice for supplying alcohol to persons under the age of 18yrs.
25/9/09. Area visited, only a few noisy youths behind the Cricket field pavilion, all moved on and no problems for rest of evening/night.
2/10/09. Area visited several times during the evening no youths congregating.
As the problems have diminished it was decided that this priority could be removed, the area will continue to receive attention in order to prevent the problem recurring.
