06/12/2011 - Anti-Social Behaviour and Criminal Damage Bessacarr Lane.  Agreed at PACT 6th December 2011

07/12/2011- Mobile patrols have been carried out on Bessacarr Lane throughout the 1pm to 10pm shift. No issues found and no one seen in the area.

08/12/2011-Officers deviated their shift to cover the area between 6pm and 2am. No issues were found. Spoke to local resident regarding recent events in the area.

09/12/2011-Staff covered the area between 1pm and 10pm. Vehicles on Hennings Close and Welton Close were the subject of theft. Postcards dropped in immediate area giving crime prevention advice about securing vulnerable vehicles.

13/12/2011-Bessacarr Lane patrolled, no issues found.

14/12/2011-Area patrolled, no one seen in area.

15/12/2011-Bessacarr Lane covered with no issues.

16/12/2011-No damage incidents reported, no one seen during patrols.

17/12/2011-Area patrolled whilst on a deviated shift until midnight.

21/12/2011-Officers worked until 2am, no one seen and no incidents reported. Cycle patrols also done in the afternoon with fire service to look at any arson prone areas that could be avoided.

22/12/2011-Officers worked until 2am with no incidents reported in the area.

Patrols were made over the Christmas and New Year periods which were very quiet and nothing was reported during these times. Anyone in this area whilst on patrol were spoken to with positive outcomes. We will continue to keep using this path especially on police cycle to monitor any activity.

03/01/2012-Patrols were made throughout the afters shift with no issues being found.

04/01/2012-Officers were on an afters shift and no one was seen in the area during patrols.

05/01/2012-Officers conducted patrols of the area in the evening. No issues.

06/01/2012-Officers worked an afters shift and the area was covered in the evening. No suspicious activity or people were found.

10/01/2012-Bessacarr Lane and the surrounding area was visited during the day with no issues or incidents being reported.

11/01/2012-The area was patrolled in the afternoon. No suspicious persons were seen.

12/10/2011 PCSO's have carried out foot patrols and mobile patrols in the area. Five youths were spoken to, they were not causing any problems but were informed about the new youth club in the Cantley on Wednesdays.

 

13/010/2011 PCSO's and DMBC local area Officers all conducted patrols at the shops. No youths were seen and no problems were reported.

 

14/10/2011 PCSO's worked till 1am and the shops were patrolled throughout the shift. No problems were reported and no youths were seen.

 

18/10/2011 No problems reported on St Wilfrids court.

 

19/10/2011 Area patrolled by staff throughout the days shift and no issues or youths seen.

 

20/10/2011 No problems or youths on St Wilfrids Court, area patrolled throuighout the days shift.

 

21/10/2011 Team have done an extended shift in plain clothes till 3am. Catapult confiscated from a youth in Cantley at 4.30pm by PCSO's. Five youths spoken to on St Wilfrid's Court at 1.30am, they were not causing any problems.

 

22/10/2011 Team worked a deviated shift from 6pm to 4am to do plain clothes patrols in Cantley and Bessacarr. Five yothes spoken to on Stoops lane at 8.50pm, they are not known to us nor were they causing any problems. Advised them about the recent spate of criminal damage in the area.

 

23/10/2011 - Patrols carried out at 5.40pm where 7 youths were seen; between 15-17 years.  They were play fighting at the time. Police Officer stopped and spoke with them and they all were in good spirits and good natured practicing their martial arts skills.  Several were from the Cantley area and 3 from as far as Hyde Park; Hexthorpe and Balby. they were advised once they'd finished practicing as ans when they were leaving the area to consider the surrounding residents and to leave in a quiet manner.  They all agreed to do so and they were no issues with this group

 

24/10/2011 To date three youths have been arrested for causing criminal damage in the Bessacarr area. They are currently on police bail pending further enquiries by the SNT.

 

26/10/2011 Local youths from Cantley have been taken to Rossington Police Station by police officers and warned about the concequences of causing Anti Social Behaviour and Criminal Damage.

 

27/10/2011 Team have deviated shifts so the area has been covered from 9.30am to 2am the following morning. No youths seen at St Wilfrids Court throughout the day.

 

28/10/2011 A group of five youths have been dealt with via Restorative Justice for an instance of ASB that occurred in Cantley. This involved the youths writing letters of apology to the victims and having a face to face meeting with them to discuss the concequences of their actions and how the incident has made the victims feel. The victims found this process very worthwhile and felt they had got their point across to the youths. Both victims highly satisfied with the way this has been dealt with and the response from the Safer Neighbourhood Team Officers and PCSOS in the Cantley area.

 

31/10/2011  Foot patrols conducted throughout the tour of duty in the area.  A number of youths and young children engaged with.  No issues at this time

 

01/11/2011 Staff have covered the area between 8am and 2am. Two youths were taken home and spoken to in front of their parents for an instance of ASB that occured on Howden Close, Bessacrr.

 

02/11/2011 Foot patrols conducted in the area. No issues at this time. Again Police Officers and PCSOS have carried out patrols in the area until 2am.

 

03/11/2011 - Between 12.00pm x 2.00pm cycle partols carried out at this location. At this time mainly shoppers going about their normal daily business. They engaged with the shoppers staff in the shops that were open with positive results.

 

04/11/2011 - Staff patrolled this area until late at night on foot, cycle and plain clothes, ensuring that any youths that were on the streets were engaging with local activities and not gathering in large groups. Lots of local people spoken to with very little issues in the areas.

 

05/11/2011 - Bonfire night patrols carried up will up to midnight with families enjoying themselves at lots of events around the areas, local youths were provided with activities set on by DMBC and throughly enjoyed themselves. No issues of note from this night.

 

07/11/2011- Various patrols made of the area during our shift, nothing of note seen just shoppers at the location.

07/09/2011 PCSO conducted foot patrols in the Stoops Lane area between 1045hrs and 1245hrs, conducting house to house enquiries after a recent incident of criminal damage.

07/09/2011 PCSO conducted foot patrols in the Broughton Road area between 1130hrs and 1145hrs. PC Jackie Cawley and PC Julie Gibbon also carried out plain clothes patrols in this locality on foot between 10.00am x 5.00pm; children seen in the afternoon coming home from school; no issues seen during this period.

03/10/2011 PC's and PCSO's conducted patrols around Stoops Lane and Broughton Road, between 2.00pm x 3.00pm no issues.

04/10/2011 PCSO's conducted patrols around Broughton Road, between 2.00pm x 4.00pm no issues.

05/10/2011 PC's, PCSO's and Local SNT Area Officers conducted patrols, around the Bessacarr and Cantley area. A number of Anti-Social Behaviour Incidents came to the attention of officers that were patrolling the area.  Officers attended and offenders were located.  Details have been taken and ABC referrals have been submitted.  

07/10/2011 PCSOs conducted mobile patrols in the area throughout their 8am-5pm shift with no issues being found.

Overnight on Monday 10th October 2011 between the hours of 9pm x 3am Officer and PCSOS' in uniform carried out patrols both on foot and in vehicles all around the PACT priority area; and throughout Cantley and Bessacarr on a whole. A group of 3 youths were seen on Stoops Lane around 11.40pm; they were stopped and spoken to and everything was all in order. Throughout the tour our shift were came across several groups namely dog walkers; people walking home from work and from the pubs. All were spoken to throughout the night and nothing was a miss.

 Tuesday 11th October 2011 - PACT meeting took place at the Willow School where the above Priority was agreed and signed off.

13th, 14th & 15th July 2011- Foot patrols carried out by Officers on Bessacarr Lane and around onto Stoops Lane between 8am and 4pm when the SNT were on duty; no issues to report.

19th July 2011 - Patrolled by PCSOS whilst on their tour of duty; no issues to report.

21st July 2011 - SNT staff on duty patrolled this area whilst on a tour of afternoon duties; extending into the early morning.  Patrols took place in the form of foot patrols providing a high visibilty presence as well as patrols in police vehicles covering the surrounding roads within the PACT priority area.

Anti Social Behaviour, Pine Road, Cantley. Agreed at PACT 12th July 2011

We did: 

13th July 2011 - PCSOS Sheedy and Martin carried out high visibility foot patrols on Pine Road, speaking with several residents ensuring there were no issues being missed. 

14th July 2011 - Patrols carried out by the SNT staff; nothing to report or any issues brought to their attention during this patrol.

Saturday 16th July 2011 between 8.30pm - 8.45pm Pine Road was patrolled by Officers on foot; walking through the snicket on Pine Road to where the garages are.  All the garages were checked and all in order securely locked.  One youth was seen cycling on his bike but there were no issues or anyone seen in the locality. Foot patrol was extended onto Acacia Road; Willow Avenue; Sycamore Road and Plane Close; again no issues to report.

Monday 18th July 2011 - Pine Road patrolled throughout our tour of afternoon duty by all the SNT staff.  PCSOS' Martin and Sheedy engaged with several groups of youths on the road when asked why so many Police were being seen in the area.

Later that evening around 9.30pm several residents talking to their neighbours took the oppotunity to engage with the staff discussing historical issues that had blighted the road in the past.

Later that evening around 11.05pm a police car was damaged by way of the rear window being smashed with a golf club.  The offender who was nearby was arrested by Officers and interviewed. The offender is currently on police bail as the investigation continues.

Tuesday 19th July 2011 - Patrols carried out throughout the tour of duty by SNT staff due to the previous night incident.  Nothing found to be amiss; no issues to report.

21st July 2011 - Patrolled by PCSOS' Martin and Sheedy late into the night finishing around 2am.  nothing seen or heard.

22nd July 2011 - High visibilty patrols carried out by Officers on Pine Road, no issues to report.

 5th August 2011 - A young person was arrested and interviewed by the local SNT Police Officers as being a person involved in Anti-Social Behaviour in the locality.  The individual admitted being involved and has been charged and bailed to attend Court. Residents affected by ASB in the locality have been informed of this result.  Their feedback was positive and thanked the Police and PCSOS' for the hard work they have done thus far.  They continued to say they had notice a reduction in ASB in the area and will continue to work with the Police in reporting any incidents that may occur.

 At the PACT meeting on 9th August 2011 this priority was signed off and agreed.

Criminal Damage & Anti Social Behaviour, Stoops Lane between the jct of Howden Close and Lindrick Close, Agreed at PACT 9.6.11

Criminal Damage and Antisocial Behaviour on stoops lane between the junctions of Howden close and Lindrick Close

On Wednesday 15th June between 11am x 1pm PCSO Nat Butterfield and PC Jackie Cawley carried out high visibility patrol on pedal cycles on Stoops Lane; some residents' in the area stopped and spoke with us and again on the same day; 3.00pm x 4.00pm; PCSO Nat Butterfield patrolled on her pedal cycle on Stoops Lane area and surrounding streets; Howden Close, Lindrick Close; Bessacarr Lane; and the roads where the local Primary Schools are situated. Many people seen as it was around finishing time for the Schools.  No one seen acting suspiciously or committing ASB/Crimainal Damage and nothing reported during these patrols.

 Thursday 16th June - Stoops Lane, Bessacarr patrolled by PCSOs' during the daytime (between 10am and 3.00pm) which was relatively quiet; no one seen acting suspiciously. A few residents spoken to who were out in their gardens and they had nothing to report. 

As a result of the PACT priorities set for the Bessacarr area; Police Officers and Police Community Support Officers covering this area have set up a Police operation called; Operation Aqua.

Monday 20th June 2011 youths identified as being responsible for causing damge and ASB on Cantley Manor Avenue, school pupils from the local area.  Apologiy letters from the offenders given to the victims.  There have not been any other incidents reported. PC Gibbon

On Monday 20th June 2011; Operation Aqua ran overnight focusing on the Stoops Lane area of Bessacarr as well as Bawtry Road, Howden Close, Lindrick Close, and all of the surrounding roads in this locality.  Cantley was also patrolled.

PC Jackie Cawley, PC Mike Dewsnap and PCSO Vicky Sheedy carried out patrols from 10.30pm into the early hours of the morning, finishing at 4am.

Three males were seen in the Bessacarr area during the operation. Officers stopped them all and spoke to them. Their details were recorded by PC Cawley and PC Dewsnap and thorough checks were carried out on them. All details were verified and no further investigations were needed and they were sent on their way.

As a direct result of Operation Aqua, there were no reported incidents, antisocial behaviour or criminal damage in the Bessacarr or Cantley area overnight.

Operation Aqua will be taking place again soon.

22nd June 2011 & 23rd June 2011 - high visibilty patrols carried out by PCSOS and PC Gibbon in the area no issues to report.

Friday 24th June 2011 Patrolled by PC Jackie Cawley and Specials sergeant Adrian Fuller between 7.00pm x 10.pm periodically; due to the rain no one seen and no issues to report.

Sunday 26th June 2011 patrolled by PC Jackie Cawley between 4.00pm x 8.30pm where the following roads were patrolled: Scaftworth Close; Clayworth Drive; Harcourt Close; Hallam Close; Whitton Close; Welton Close; Sturton Close; Linderick Close; Howden Close; Lindsey Close; Roxby Close; Laneham Close and Winterton Close; Bruncroft Close; Norwith Road and Broughton Road; as well as Stoops Lane.  Lots of people seen due to the fantastic weather. Many people in their gardens were spoken; no issues reported during this patrol.

26.06.11 Missing young girl in Bessacarr , located and returned home in early hours of 27th June 2011. PC Gibbon

28th June; 29th June; 30th June; PACT area patrolled by PCSO She and PCSO Martin between 3.30pm x 5.00pm and again between 6.00pm x 7.00pm.  Nothing seen to report in relation to the issues raised at the PACT meeting.

Thursday 30th June 2011- Patrolled by PC Jackie Cawley between 11.30am and 1.00pm.  Parked on Linderick Close and mealed there. Spoke to a number of children who were off due to a day of strike at the local schools. Spoke with several occupants on the road who approached asking why I was there.  I did explain about the reason for being their and invited them to attend the next PACT meeting!

Thursday 30th June 2011 a young male from Cantley has been reprimanded and referred to the DMBC ABC + team following an admission of damage on Pine Road. PC Gibbon

Friday 1st July 2011 Officers conducted cycle patrols from 10pm in and around the Bessacarr area .  ( Operation AQUA) Stoops Lane . red/white path area extensively covered and parts of Cantley, no major issues.  Also visited residents and patrolled Pine Road, following reports of ASB earlier on in the evening. PC Gibbon

 

Sunday 3rd July 2011 - Patrolled by PC  Jackie Cawley between 2.00pm and 3.00pm.  Parked on Howden Close and mealed there again saw several groups of young people walking along the paths all in good spirits due to the fantastic weather. All well behaved as they walked through or cycled. Carried out foot patrol in Haslam Park, off Boswell Road.  Spoke with 3 seperate groups in the park. All in order; local kids as well as kids from Rossington using the facilities.

Thursday 7th July 2011 - Patrolls conducted around the Stoops Lane area by PC Julie Gibbon and PC Victoria Lister,  residents spoken to on The Oval regarding some damage to piping and garages. Reassured that extra patrols will be conducted in the area to try and locate offenders. Residents spoken to, no issues raised.

Criminal Damage/ASB on Grange Road area; agreed at the meeting held on 12th May 2011

The ASB/Criminal Damage reported have occurred on Goodison Boulevard in the vicinity of the community centre; Grange Road; Partridge Flatt Road and Plumpton Park Road.

We did: 

13th May PCSOS' carried out High Visibility foot patrols in and around the Partridge Flat Road area including the park. There was nothing seen untowards during these patrol times.

16th May between 9am x 4.30pm   High Visibility patrols conducted were conducted and there were no issues.

17th May  PCSOS Sheedy and Leggott and PCs' Gibbon and Cawley carried out High Visibility Patrols in these areas between 10am x 5.00pm. Residents' spoken to; but on a whole nothing untowards seen or took place in these areas.

18th May  PCSO Leggott and PC Gibbon conducted Cycle patrols of the area with no issues

19th May  PCSOS Sheedy and Leggott and PCs' Gibbon and Cawley carried out High Visibility Patrols in these areas between 10am x 5.00pm. Residents' spoken to; but on a whole nothing untowards seen or took place in these areas.

23 May During patrols PCSO spoke with a small group of youths on the park.  They were very compliant and were not causing any issues.

24th May High Visibility Foot Patrol conducted with no issues

25th May foot patrols carried out by PCSOS' where they came across a small group of youths on the park; not causing any issues of concerns. The PACT Priorty area patrolled and no issues found.

26th May Mobile patrols of the area conducted, there were very few people around and no issues

27th May High Visibility footpatrol no issues

31st May  Mobile and foot Patrols were conducted in the area there were no issues.

1 June PCSO's patrolled the area, there was no one on the park and surroundiong streets were quiet

2nd June, A member of the public reported seeing a male riding an off road motorcycle illegally around the area. Police officers attended and managed to stop the male. The male was issued with a notice under the police reform act, this is a warning, that should they commit further such offences, their vehicle will be taken from them and will only be returned upon payment of a large fine. The male then left the area.

 Friday 3rd June Goodison Boulevard near to the CO-OP; Plumpton Park Road; and Partridge Flatt Road patrolled by PCSOS' during the evening time; between 4.00pm - 4.45pm and later in the evening time by Special Sergeant Fuller. A family was seen to using the park area near to the CO-OP when PCSOS' patrolled. Overall no issues seen or reported.

4th June between 8.15pm - 8.30pm PC 3387 Jackie Cawley and Special Sergeant 7933 Adrian Fuller carried out high visibility patrol on Plumpton Park Road, speaking to one home owner on the road; nothing to report in relation to the PACT Priority however; he stated he was pleased to see Police Officers on his street. Patrols were also carried out on Partridge Flatt Road, checking the MELL building site and the houses under construction; all in order. Checked along Partridge Rise; along Grange Road and the two buildng plot on the corner of this road, building plots secure and entry could not be gained, all appeared to be in order; three youths seen walking their dogs.  Spoke with them and they were no issues with the 3 youths.  We continued our patrols onto Grange Road and Grange Close, no one seen here and all appeared to be quiet and in order.

PACT Priorites

At the last PACT meeting, the audience raised 4 other issues as well as the Priorities that were set.  These 4 issues were:

Nostell Place, Bessacarr - nuisance youths.

Waste Ground off Ewood Drive, Cantley-vehicle parking up late at night causing a disturbance.

Police Officers and PCSOS' have patrolled this location at differing times on an evening and no youths found causing a problem.

Waste Ground off Ewood Drive, Cantley.

Patrolled by Officers at variuos times during the evening and no vehicles were in situ and none seen to be causing a disturbance.
