Speeding operations have continued in this area with SYP taking positive action against 24 drivers in the past 10 days who were exceeding the speed limit.

DMBC have been contacted with a request for the NRT(neighbourhood response team) to carryout regular patrols of this area.

Whilst on patrol in this area today officers were approached by a concerned resident who stated that they hadny seen an elderly male for several days. Unfortunetly when officers gained entry to the premises concerned the male was found deceased, our thoughts are with his family.

There were no other incidents of note reported from this area.

A letter drop has been carried out at properties in this area.

An environmental survey has been carried out in this area. This looked at whether the street lighting was working and whether the area was clean and tidy. It was noted that there was a onsiderable amount of rubbish building up. DMBC will be liased with to clean this up.

patrols were carried oot from9am-11am and again from 2.30pm-3.30pm. during these patrols it was quiet and no issues were brought to our attention.

Whilst carrying out patrols in this area a PCSo came across a bruglary in progress. Unfortunetly the known offender made their escape and is currently being sought by the police.

From our records and since 15/12/11 there have only been 4 incidents ASB reported from this street and 2 of them from the same address. When officers attended this address the complainant refused to name the offenders stating that she had spoke to parents of those involved and didnt want Police to deal with the youths.

New Park Estate, Stainforth - Anti Social Behaviour / Street Drinking / Damage being caused -Filed 16th December 2011

An estate walk with St Leger Homes has been carried out by PCSO Paula Simpson and a letter drop to residents affected by these issues.

11/08/11 - Patrols by PCSO's in the area throughout the shift - PCSO Paula Simpson visited the Chair of Poulton TARA to discuss issues.

12th August  2011- Incident reported of a male acting suspiciously on the estate. It was reported that the male was sat in a vehicle and seemed to be " messing around with the wiring in the dash board". The area was attended by officers and an area search was conducted. The male and vehicle had made of prior to police arrival. A vehicle registration was provided by the caller , however the registration passed was not valid.

13th- 15th  August 2011- Patrols conducted by the Stainforth SNT and Doncaster Neighbourhood Response Team over the weekend. No incidents reported.

2nd September 2011- Two reports of criminal damage to vehicles reported today. During one incident an offender was identified. The offender was dealt with by means of the criminal justice system.

3rd September 2011- An incident was reported today stating a girl was riding around the estate on a motorcycle. Officers attended the area and completed an area search but the vehicle had already made off.

4th September 2011- Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the locality today. No incidents reported.

6th September 2011 -At the PACT meeting held this evening, residents were updated about this priority. No residents from the estate were present to give feedback. It was agreed to retain this priority for a further month to look at specific addresses on the estate that have been highlighted as a problem.

 7th September 2011- An incident was reported today regarding a motorbike which had been stolen from the estate. The motorbike was stolen without keys. The incident has been crimed. The SNT are aware of the incident and will be keeping observations for the stolen vehicle.

 8th September 2011- A report of a group of youths drinking alcohol on the estate. The group moved on of their own accord prior to police arrival.

9th September 2011 - Stainforth SNT carried out foot and cycle patrols of the estate this afternoon and into the evening.At 10.30pm, a complaint was made about a group of rowdy young people sitting outside a property on the estate. Officers attended and made a search but nobody was found. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team carried out patrols of the estate overnight in their CCTV vehicle.

10th September 2011 - Patrols were carried out this afternoon and evening by Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team and Stainforth SNT officers. No incidents were reported or discovered.

12th September 2011 - A complaint was received about young people sitting on a garden wall to a property. The young people weresaid to be rowdy and a nuisance. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team attended and moved on five young people, giving appropriate advice.

13th September 2011 - PCSO Simpson carried out cycle patrols of the estate today. No incidents were reported or discovered.

14th and 15th September 2011 - Stainforth SNT officers carried out patrols of the locality during the tour of duty. No incidents were reported or discovered.

18th September 2011 - A resident complained about a group of young people drinking alcohol outside his property at 8.15pm. Officers attended and made a search but noone was located.

19th September 2011 - PCSO Simpson carried out cycle patrols of the estate this afternoon an into the evening. No incidents were reported and the estate was quiet on each visit.

20th September 2011 - PCSO Simpson carried out cycle patrols of the estate at various times this afternoon and evening. At 11pm, a complaint was made about the conduct of a group of young people who were being noisy and allegedly drinking alcohol. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team attended and made a search for the group who had already left on arrival.  

21st September 2011 - PCSO Simpson carried out cycle patrols and checks of the estate this afternoon. No incidents were reported or discovered.

22nd September 2011- Stainforth SNT officers carried out patrols of the locality during the tour of duty. No incidents were reported or discovered.

 23rd September 2011- Reports of local youths going round the estate throwing stones at bungalows in the area. No damage had been caused on this occassion, however 6 youths were advised accordingly and all details were taken. The youths were told to make their way home in order to prevent any further incidents.

A further unrelated  incident was reported later in the evening as two  youths wearing "hoodies" were seen jumping over a fence on the estate. After an inspection of the area by Police officers it was established that a shed had been broken into. A search was made in the area to locate the male offenders who had unfortunatly made good their escape.

24th & 25th September 2011- Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the locality over the weekend. No incidents reported.

26th September 2011-  Stainforth SNT officers carried out patrols of the locality during the tour of duty. No incidents were reported or discovered.

27th September 2011-  An incident was reported today by a resident stating that he has had his TV ariel cut. Nothing was  seen or heard.

Later on this evening areport was made of two males acting in a suspicious manner on the estate. Police Officers arrived shortly after the initial report but the males had already moved on from the area.

28th September 2011- Stainforth SNT officers carried out patrols of the locality during the tour of duty. No incidents were reported or discovered. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team  also patrolled the locality over night. No incidents reported.

29th September 2011- During the early hours of the morning, an incident was reported regarding suspicious males in the area. Residents are concerned due to recent damage to ariels and telephone wires in the area. Police officers attended and no damage had been caused although a male in dark clothing was seen to ride off on a pushbike as officers arrived.

 30th September 2011- A resident reported a group of youths drinking alcohol on the estate and being rowdy. On police arrival the youths had already moved on.

1st & 2nd October 2011- Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team patrolled the locality overnight. No incidents reported.

 3rd October 2011- Patrols carried out in the locality by the Stainforth Safer Neighbourhood Team today. No incidents reported. Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team gave attention to the area. Nothing to report. At the PACT meeting held this evening, it was agreed to retain this priority for a further month.

4th October 2011- An incident was reported regarding youths causing a nuisance near to the OAP bungalows on the estate. The youths did not cause damage and moved on of their own accord. The Stainforth Safer Neighbourhood Team are aware and will be monitoring the area.

5th October 2011 - A complaint was made about a group of rowdy young people shining torches into residents windows.A search was made but nobody was located. A separate incident was also reported involving damage being caused to a garden fence. Enquiries are being made.

6th October 2011 - Patrols were carried out by PCSO Simpson and PCSO Duffin on the street this afternoon and evening. No incidents were reported.

7th October 2011 - At 8.20pm this evening, a complaint was received about a group of young people drinking alcohol and being rowdy in the street. PC Thomas attended and spoke with a number of young people. Advice was given but no alcohol found. They were then moved on from the area and advised not to return.

This evening the SNT staff from Stainforth and Thorne executed a drugs warrant on the New Park estate. No drugs were found on this occasions although there were signs that drugs had been used at the address. St leger homes were also present looking at possible breaches of tenancy agreements.

23/11/2011

This morning an estate walk was carried out on the New Park. This involved all partner agencies identifying areas which they could concentrate on, whether this was untidy gardens, graffiti or rubbish. On 17th jan 2012 neighbourhood Alliance comes to Stainforth and this area will feature heavily.

 

On the evening of 23rd we carried out a Operation on The New Park to address concerns of residents. This involved officers from the SNT, neighbourhood response teams and also mounted officers.

Following 3 nights of operations in this area these are the results so far-

1-£80 fine for selling alcohol to an under 18.

9 cannabis plants seized and a male suspect is being dealt with.

1 golf club and 2 large wooden sticks taken from youths messing about in the park.

2 prowler type incidents dealt with.

Lots of intelligence gathered from the community.

5 vehicles stopped.

All licensed premises visited.

All bingo participants safely escorted home.

15 stop and searches conducted.

On 08th December officers from SYP,St leger, DMBC, syfr carried out a leaflet drop to 900 properties in this area, which will be the focus of neighbourhood alliance in january 2012.in addition to this 150 residents were consulted as to what we should focus on during this operation.

10/05/2011 - Officers and PCSO's conducted speed checks, throughout Hatfield and Dunsville for 4 hours. Several vehicles stopped and refered for Speed awareness courses. One male was also arrested for drugs offences after intially being stopped for speeding. 

20/05/2011- The Police equipment has been deployed for approximately 8 Hours over the past two weeks, Hatfield High Street has seen a number of persons advised, however, work on Dunsville High Street and Kirton lane has been carried out. There were no issues in this area.

The Council CSW 'S have now had their equipment repaired , they have deployed it three times over the past week.

Hatfield - No issues , The equipment being deployed for 2hrs.

On 18.5.2011 , The CSW's deployed for an Hour in the Morning and an Hour in the Afternoon , Results were 13 and 18 motorists caught speeding , however , the speeds obtained were between 41 and 44 mph.

Road Patrol Officers attended in the Local area on 25th May , they gave out 4 Verbal Cautions .

During the course of the period Police Staff deployed the Radar Gun for approximately 14hrs, two files were submitted for speeding offences, as well as a number of Cautions.....

22nd July 2011 -PC Barrowcliffe carried out patrols of the locality this afternoon. At 00.45hrs, a Ford Transit tipper van failed to stop for Police in High Street. A short pursuit took place which resulted in the Ford van colliding with a wall in Princess Avenue, Stainforth. The vehicle was recovered by Police and enquiries are ongoing.

The multi agency team are aware of the local issue and introduced the scenario at the Pact Meeting. Those present agreed it should be included as a priority.

At this stage some intelligence has been gained from Agency systems as to reports of ASB and Motorcycle nuisance. A full Schedule will be completed.

21st Jun 2011 - One incident reported at 7.00pm on the Square. This related to 2 females arguing and causing a noise nuisance on the street. Patrol Officers attended and spoke with the females in question. advice was given and their details passed onto the Stainforth Safer Neighbourhood Team.

25th June 2011 - One reported incident that occurred just after midnight on Large Square. This related to damage to a house window. Staff from The Safer Neighbourhood Team attended and commenced a search for the 3 offenders. Enquiries locally have potential names for the suspects and enquiries are ongoing to trace them. The area was patrolled in the early hours by The Doncaster Council Neighbourhood Response Team with no further incidents. further patrols carried out during the afternoon by staff from The Safer Neighbourhood Team.

26th June 2011 - Incident reported overnight relating to damage caused to a window on Large Square. Area search conducted by Patrol Officers and details of possible suspects forwarded. Further hi-visibility patrols conducted overnight. Safer Neighbourhood Team continuing with the investigation.

A burglary was reported at an address in Large Square, but this was reported to Police some time after the actual offence. 7th July 2011 - Enquiries are being made into  a burglary on Large Square earlier today, where a Ford Mondeo was also stolen from the address. The vehicle has subsequently been recovered by Police in Barnby Dun

Young people causing Anti-Social Behaviour,being Rowdy and inconsiderate, footballing in the street and general nuisance.

We have now included this area in our patrol plan, It has seen an increased in High Visibility Patrols over recent weeks however, is now a priority issue.

A schedule of offences will be built.

February there were seven ASB Calls recorded and Two Criminal Damages.  

As This matter was placed as a priority the Area was put down for extra attention from the NRT, Neghbourhood response team. They have not picked up anty results , however , have added to the first phase of high rofile patrols.

Update 7/4/2011.    Our patrols have identified that there are Young People congregating within the proximity of the Church, they sit on the steps in order to seek shelter from the weather. These young persons have been engaged and during conversations have elected to move away from the area.

16/4/2011- Very few calls in the area, leaflet drops have been completed.

Details of six other young people have been forwarded to the ASB Team , as a first record of being spoken to. No offences were disclosed however it appeared as though some of the group had managed to get hold of intoxicants.

As a result of the increased patrols only 4 Incidents wre recorded in March.

To date 2 incidents have been recorded in April.

At the PACT Meeting last night it was agreed that this issue remain on the priority list for another four weeks, patrols will continue.

01.05.2011- Two incidents of a minor nature in April, the surrounding areas do not seem to have had the displacement.

Coronation Road, Stainforth

There had been an increase of Anti-Social- Behaviour including criminal damage and the use of Illegal Motorcycles in the area.

The Community problem has been placed as a priority for the Safer Neighbourhoods Team. A schedule of offences will be sought , together with an  action plan on how to deal with recent events.

The area will see an immediate increase in High Visibilty Patrols.

Any member of the Public with any information are asked to contact the team on 01302 385153.

We are aware that not all incidents have been reported to the Police, hence a letter drop took place in order to engage the Community.

At the PACT Meeting on 12/1/2011 those present agreed its inclusion of the area as a priority.

In January to date there have been 10 Incidents of Anti-Social behaviour reported in the vacinity as well as a thaft from motorvehicle and two burglaries. Patrols have increased in the area. Further engagement is to take place with local residents. The is an Action Schedule for the Multi agency team to work from. Ther have been repeat victims in the area. The support of agencies is in place.

There has been a further report of a nuisance motorcycle in the area. One was caught in Decemebr belonging to a local youth, he was given the relevant warning.

There were ten calls to Coronation Road in the January period, 7 calls to nearby Ashfield Grove and 3 calls to West Ave. The majority of these calls were Anti -Social Behaviour however a large amount of damage has been reported..

A door knocking exercise took place today, 9/2/2011, in order to engage members of the public.

One report of a nuisance motorcycle caused the SNT to patrol the area where they did catch a young motorcyclist without headgear. He was processed for the offence

February saw 6 ASB Calls to Coronation Road , with a further 9 calls to Ashfield Grove, No Doubt the same persons responsible.

A number of young persons have had their names taken and processed through the Anti Social Behaviour Team

Patrols Continue in the area. In March there were 2 Calls to Coronation Road with regards Criminal Damage , on one ocassion the Safer Neighbourhood Team managed to get there swiftly and catch the Culprit for damaging a fence. There were only three calls in the locality with regards ASB , One being on Ashfield Grove.
