Both Police officers & PCSOs have completed a large amount of high visibility patrols in your area, taking a robust approach to anyone who appears likely to become engaged in any sort of anti-social behaviour.
From Tuesday 26/10/10 to Tuesday 02/11/10, Police Officers & PCSO's conducted both foot & cycle patrols on Potter Hill estate, potter hill lane and Booth road.
We have been stopping and engaging with any groups of youths in the area. If any of the youths have been causing anti-social behaviour we have been taking their details and starting the process with Parent Advisory Letters, which are the warnings before Anti-social Behaviour Contracts.
Operation TRESPASS has also been set up by local officers to tackle ASB in the High Green area. Activities include extra patrols by officers on foot and also Police cycles.
On the 23/09/10 local officers attended the meeting rooms on Kinsey Road to give a talk to residents regarding Bogus Officials. The talk was designed to raise awareness of this issue and also explain what a Bogus Official is. (A Bogus Official is someone who attempts to gain access to your property, unlawfully, by saying they are from the water board of gas board etc...)

> Anti Social Behaviour/Criminal Damage, Market Place.
> Increased High Visibility foot patrols have been undertaken around Market Place. This has led to 1 Anti Social Behaviour Order being issued Banning the individual concerned from the Chapletown Area.

> Anti Social Behaviour & Nuisance motorcycles Potters Gate.
> High visibility patrols have been conducted in the area to combat issues of Anti Social Behaviour. The result of these patrols have seen a dramatic reduction in the number of calls recieved surrounding anti social behaviour/criminal damage.

> Burglary other (sheds/outbuildings) High Green
> Operation K-Outhouse ran from 06/12/2008 to 13/12/2008. This included high visibility foot patrols by Police Community Support Officers and Police Officers. Police Officers also undertook patrols in plain clothes throughout the night with a number of people being stopped and searched.
> As a result of our activity we have secured funding to 'Target Hardening' sheds and outbuildings.

Anti Social Behaviour/Criminal Damage Grenoside, Main Street and Grenoside Park.
High visibility foot and vehicle patrols have been stepped up in the area. As a result of this a number of childeren and young people were stopped in Grenoside park and advised regarding their behaviour. A neighbourhood watch scheme is in the process of being set up, and a letter drop has taken place around the area to encourage residents to report any incidents of anti social behaviour/criminal damage.
