On the 15/01/11 officers from the SNA attended the Vicarage on Wheata Road and spoke with some youths. The vicar has also been visited on a regular basis as part of our regular foot patrols.

On the 13/04/11 a drugs warrant was executed on Colley Drive resulting in 1 male arrested for cultivation of cannanbis.

Also, local PCSO's whilst on high visibility foot patrols within the local area have found on average 94 vehicles which were left with items on display making them vulnerable to be broken into. Letters sent out to vehicle owners making them aware of this.

Both Police officers & PCSOs have completed a large amount of high visibility patrols in your area, taking a robust approach to anyone who appears likely to become engaged in any sort of anti-social behaviour.

Police Officers & PCSO's have been conducting both foot & cycle patrols in this area. We have been stopping and engaging with any groups of youths in the area. If any of the youths have been causing anti-social behaviour we have been taking their details and starting the process with Parent Advisory Letters, which are the warnings before Anti-social Behaviour Contracts.

Also, local PCSO's whilst on high visibility foot patrols within the local area have found on average 89 vehicles which were left with items on display making them vulnerable to be broken into. Letters have been sent out to vehicle owners making them aware of this.

On the 13/07/11 local officers attended the Ecclesfield TARA Annual General Meeting. (Any issues raised will be published in due course.)

Local officers have also completed numerous No Cold Calling Zone letter drops and we have also been recruiting new Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinators. On the 12th and the 13th of July 2011 local officers conducted NCCZ surveys on Monteney Crescent, enough positive replies were received which means signs will be put up in the near future.

We also have a MoCam (CCTV Camera) at the location, which can be monitored in real time. This also records the location and can be reviewed should any incidents occur.

The local PCSO, Nigel EYRE, attended the Margetson Forum on Margetson Crescent and spoke to staff in relation to ABC funding. ABC funding is a sum of money which local groups can apply for. If the application is successful the money can be used for activities such as youth clubs. Local residents have been spoken to and a application has been submitted. Watch this space !

On the 23/06/10 officers from the SNA attended the Parson Cross annual general meeting (AGM) to talk about any issues the local resident's may have.

Officers from the Ecclesfield SNA executed a drugs warrant at an address in the Parson Cross area. As a result of this 1 local male was arrested for possesion of cannibis and what is suspected by officers to be cocaine. This was conducted on the 28/06/10.

Whilst out on patrol on Wheata Road on 24/06/10 officers came across a group of youths acting in an anti-social manner. Details of the youths were taken, 6 in total, and evidence was submitted to the SYP anti-social behaviour team. The youths in question can expect letters to parents in the first instance.

We now have cycle patrols within your area, this enables officers to be more mobile, responding to incidents quicker. So keep a look out!

We attend your local Tara meetings, and hold drop in surgerys at the local forum with dates published locally.
