08/09/2011 Cycle patrol of Tranquil Walk and nearby estates. 1 Off road motorbike seen but lost sight. No other issues.

14/09/2011 Numerous patrols conducted of Radburn Road. No issues. A Missing child reported from a nearby address and located a shortime later and returned home safe and well.

Theft from Motor Vehicle and Criminal Damage offences in the area of St Michaels Avenue, Yew Tree Crescent and Littleworth Lane areas. Decided at the PACT meeting on the 8th August 2011 at Brodsworth Way.

12th August - Numerous patrols in the area by staff from SYP, DMBC and Youth services. Numerous youths engaged with, and directed to activities at the Youth Club and The Holmes Carr Centre.

15th August - Patrols conducted throughout the evening. No issues.

16th August - Patrols conducted in the area by staff from SYP and DMBC. Incident reported on Littleworth Lane, though on further investigation, nothing of concern for members of the public in general.

21st August - Several patrols conducted during the course of the shift, late afternoon till early evening. No issues, and no suspicious activity.

23th August - PCSO cycle patrol of PACT area. Nothing of note thou door to door salesmen checked out. All in order and legit.

24th August - PCSO cycle patrol of area and marked police car patrol. No issues, no one stopped of intrest.

26th August - High Visibility mobile patrols conducted in the area, no issues to report.

27th August - A number of patrols were conducted in the area by officers from SYP and DMBC, no issues.

31st August - x2 PCSO cycle patrol of area. No issues, no one stopped of intrest.

1st September - X2 PCSO cycle patrol of PACT area. Very quiet, no seen.

19/07/2011: 1800hrs - Patrol along west End lane. Youths using the youth club, nothing untoward.

19/07/2011: 200hrs - Extensive patrol of the area within the welfare grounds, youth club and sports centre. No body seen.

24/07/2011: Operation Alliance starts today. Additional patrols in Rossington by SYP and DMBC.

25/07/2011: Numerous patrols conducted in the area by officers on foot, vehicles, and a joint cycle patrol with officers from South Yorkshire Police and South Yorkshire Fire Service. No issues.

29/07/2011: As part of Alliance, Officers from SYP and youth workers were out on foot in Rossington, talking to youths who were on the street, directing them to the youth club or other activities taking place on Atlee park. No issues on West End lane this evening

3/8/2011 : Cycle patrol of area, a number of youths spoke to but no issues.

5/8/2011: Cycle Patrol of area. No issues.

7/8/2011: x1 £50 DPPO ticket (drinking in the street)  issued to a male on West End Lane.

8/08/2011: Joint cycle patrol between South Yorkshire Police and South Yorkshire Fire. No issues but a number of potential fire hazards noticed by South Yorkshire Fire and occupants given advice.

Anti-Social Behaviour at Atterby Park and Atterby Drive, retained following PACT meeting on 8th June 2011

Anti-Social behaviour on Atterby Park and Atterby Drive

We did: 

9th April - A member of the public called to report youths and children as young as 12 or 13 causing a disturbance as they went to and from the park behind Atterby Drive. The area was visited and the park searched but no youths were present.

14th April - PCSOs patrolling Atterby Park find a group of 12 young males. There was a distinct smell of cannabis and so PCs arrived and searched the males. Evidence of recent drug use was discovered and drug paraphernalia was found but no drugs were present. Eaach male was advised to leave the area and to do so quietly so as to not disturb the residents.

11th May - Patrols conducted in the park by officers on pedal cycles, a small group of youths were spoken to, the youths were informed about the new priority, there were no issues.

12th May - Several patrols were conducted in the area, in one incident a youth was witnessed to be abusive to a member of the public. This youth will be subject to a referral to DMBC's ABC+ team. 2 further youths were also stopped, and as a result of their behaviour referred to the ABC+ team.

16th May - Several patrols conducted of area, a group of youths were spoken to about the behaviour. As a result 3 refferals have been sent to the ABC+ team.

18th May - Letter drop in the area, highlighting the issue to local residents.

19th May - 2 males have been referred to DMBC's ABC+ team following them causing a problem in the morning

29th May - 2.45pm, following a report from a concerned member of the public about a group of young adults walking onto the park with a quantity of alcohol. Officers attended, and discovered that the young adults were actually attending a party in a garden off Toad Hole Lane. There were therefore no issues.

29th May - 9pm, Officers attended at the park as part of a routine patrol. 3 to 4 young teeangers were using the park at that time for genuine reasons. 

1st June - 2.50pm, a male was referred to DMBC's ABC+ team having been seen riding his pedal cycle in an erratic and dangerous manner.

2nd June - 2pm, a male has been reported on summons to Doncaster Magistrates Court for having no insurance and no driving licence, following a report from a member of the public, that the male had been causing a nuisance riding around the local area, on an off road motorcycle.

2nd June - 2.12pm, A patrol was conducted in the park by PCSO Saywell and CSW Smeaton-Smith. At that time there were only two families with small children present. However, the pair did identify 5 vehicles parked nearby which had items on display. The registered keepers of the vehicles will be sent a letter, advising them that by leaving items on display, they are increasing the risk of their cars being broken into, and the items stolen.

3rd June 14:20. A patrol of the Atterby drive area found no youths on the park area. But again identiyed another 4 vehicles with either windows left open or items left on display.

3rd June 2000hrs. Another patrol around the Atterby Drive area and park. No nuisance youths or problems reported. Spoke to a local resident who commented on how quiet it had been recently.

8th June – Retained as PACT priority at meeting at Brodsworth Pavillion.

9th June - Partol by PCSO and PC on bikes at around 1700hrs. Some young children playing on the park but there were no issues with noise at all.

13th June - Another patrol around the Atterby Drive area and park. No nuisance youths or problems reported

15th June - A patrol of the Atterby drive area found no youths on the park area. But identiyed 3 vehicles with either windows left open or items left on display.

21st June - Partol by PCSOs on bikes at around 2030. No one using park at time checked.

26th June - 2pm Park patrolled by officers in plain clothes on mountain bikes. No one present at the park at that time.

26th June - 2230, Officers conducted patrols of the park regarding an unrelated matter, a missing person from the Bessacarr area. There were no youths present at the park at that time.

27th June - 0115 - Plain clothes officers conducted a patrol in the park and Toad Hole Lane, no persons were present at this time.

28th June - 1410- PCSO's attended Aisby Drive where a burglary had occured on the 24th of June, whilst there PCSO's checked the park area and there was no body there.

30th June - Afternoon patrol at the park. No youths present. Workmen were in the process of erecting new fencing at the entrance to the park.

1st July - 2135hrs - DMBC NRT patrolled the park. No one on at the time.

1st July - 9.45pm - Mountain bike patrol in the park, only an adult walking two dogs.

2nd July - 2033hrs - DMBC NRT patrolled the park. No one on at the time.

11th July - Signed off as a local priority at PACT meeting

Anti social behaviour - Decided at PACT meeting 6th April 2011

You said: 

Anti social behaviour throughout Rossington, in particular around the Radburn, Brodsworth and Atterby drive estates.

We did: 

7th April - Two quads seized from the Radburn Road area following information from a member of the public

8th April - Patrols around Radburn Road. Stopped several youths stopped and they were informed of the PACT priority. They had their details taken before they were moved away from the area.

8th April - Officers attended Brodsworth Way park and undertook foot patrol around the area, including the duck pond. Several members of tyhe public were spoken to. One alluded to the fact that on an evening youths in cars frequent the parking area and play loud music, wheelspin and cause a general nuisance. This persons concern will be dealt with.

8th April - PCSO stop a number of youths and siezed 82 units of alcohol. Details taken and youth moved on.

9th April - Officers responding to a call of youths playing football on Radburn road, found the youths who were promptly warned. Despite this the youths carried on playing football and so have been referred to DMBC's ABC+ team.

9th April - A member of the public called to report youths and children as young as 12 or 13 causing a disturbance as they went to and from the park behind Atterby Drive. The area was visited and the park searched but no youths were present.

10th April - Illegal off road motorbike operation throughout the South SNA area. Regular patrols of Brodsworth Way area found no nuisance youths nor any motorbikes. In addition to this, none were reported by residents of Rossington.

13th April - Report by a member of the public on Brodsworth estate that her window had been smashed by nuisance youths. Three local youths were named and admitted the offence. They were issued with restorative justice tickets, which means they will pay for the window to be repaired. Their details will also be passed to DMBC's ABC+ scheme.

13th April - Patrols by PCSOs around the Radburn road estate. No issues or youths present at these times.

14th April - PCSOs patrolling Atterby Park find a group of 12 young males. There was a distinct smell of cannabis and so PCs arrived and searched the males. 20th April - Officers from South Yorkshire Police, St Leger Homes and DMBC conducted a community impact survey in the Radburn Road area. This is as a result of numerous complaints from local residents regarding Anti-social behaviour based around a particular house on the estate.

3rd May - Cycle patrols conducted on Radburn Road, a group of youths were spoken to having been seen playing footabll in the street. The youths stopped once spoken to.

4th May - Patrols conducted in the Radburn Road area, no groups of youths were about.

5th May - Cycle patrols conducted in all the hot spot areas, and again a quiet shift in terms of youths and ASB.

6th May - Specific patrol conducted on the Grange Lane Park, following a bullying issue, and liaison at the youth centre. A patrol was also conducted on Atterby Park following a report from a member of the public about youth nuisance. There were no youths present, but it was noticed that there seems to be signs of fires having been lit in the woods.

18/03/2011 - Following damage being caused to the St Leger offices on McConnell Crescent, a local male has received a fixed penalty notice regarding the incident.

28/03/2011 - Numerous patrols throughout the local area, paths walked to the rear of Lindholme Drive, and a large group of youths dispersed from near the shops on Radburn Road.

29/03/2011 - Further patrols in the area by officers on foot, however fairly quiet largely thanks to the rain.
