The field locally known as Doorstep Green has a youth shelter based upon it. Local residents are reporting that underage drinking is occurring around this location and spilling into the streets adjoining the park. Young people are, it is claimed, making a nuisance of themselves when accessing and leaving that location.
This occurs predominantly on Friday / Saturday evenings between 8pm and midnight.
Commence high visibility patrols to look at whether the issues are perception based or actual, and address any offences / issues that we come across at that time.

Nuisance youths congregating on the wooded area at the rear of Thickett Drive, Maltby. The youths are drinking underage, throwing litter into residential gardens, using foul and abusive language and making threats to residents. there have also been some issues with fires being set.
At the PACT meeting of 19/04/11 it was agreed that this area would be redefined to include Malwood / Littlewood and Holiwell as this small estate is experiencing all of the issues outlined above.

This priority was agreed to be signed off at the last Area Assembly / PACT meeting at Wickersley on 19/04/11. The issues surrounding all of the concerns raised by local residents are far less frequent than they had been previously as the SNT were lucky enough to secure funding from Wentworth Valley Area Assembly for High Visibility Patrols and Operation Coverage, a collaboration between the Police, Children and Young People's Services and Know The Score young people's Drug Services. The result has been a zero tolerance approach leading to a number of prosecutions and a reduction in ASB across the area. Should the issues become problematic in the future, local residents will have the opportunity to air their views at the next Area Assembly meeting on 14/06/11 at Maltby Full Life Church at 18:00 hours.

Flanderwell Lane, Central Avenue, The Crescent East, The Crescent West, The Wellway, The Woodway and Fleming Way - Nuisance Motorcycles, Drug Dealing, Anti-social Behaviour and Criminal Damage and now incorporating the snicket at the side of 119 Flanderwell Lane, particularly for drug use and dealing.
28th June 2010:- Motorcycle seized on jennel to bordering Flanderwell Avenue.
After a fantastic response from members of the public warrants have been executed at several addresses in the local area relating to drugs and the cultivation of cannabis. At one of these addresses drugs and Cannabis growing equipment to the value of £3000 were recovered.
Please continue to show your support by reporting anything suspicious (smell of cannabis, suspected dealing etc).
3 men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary of the currently disused Sunnyside Working mens Club, Flanderwell Lane. The offence involved the stripping of copper piping from the premises and resulted on water damage to the building. Prosecutions are pending.

28th September 2010 SNT Street brief took place at Sunnyside working mens club to discuss asb and ongoing issues of criminal damage and youths in locality. Good turn out by local residents and issues discussed.

PACT meeting held at Northfield Lane School, 16th November 2010. Decision to remove this as a priority as it has been on here for some considerable time. Lots of partnership work both on the streets and behind the scenes has been conducted, reducing the issues outside Sunnyside Club significantly and addressing some of the ASB and Drug issues, with offenders awaiting court for offences. The area will still form part of the ASB patrol plan.
