The Stephen Harrison Academy, together with Sheffield Council, will be providing opportunities for young peopl aged 8 to 18 over this summer holidays, giving young people the chance to meet, play and get some professional coaching for their game.
There will be open sessions at Hillsborough Snooker Centre, Baxter road, between 4pm and 6.30pm every weekday for 6 weeks, from Monday 26th July.
There is also a 'snooker bus' is equipped with snooker and pool tables, wii and PS3 games, and is a great place for young people aged 8-18 to hang out, as well as imporve their game. The bus will be at the following locations between 6pm and 9pm;
- Friday August 13th - Junior School carpark, Grenoside
- Saturday August 14th - Coronation Park at Outibridge
- Friday August 20th - Stannington Park
- Saturday August 21st - Angram Bank Community Centre at High Green
- Friday August 27th - opposite the football club on Coal Pit Lane, Stocksbridge
- Saturday August 28th - Ecclesfield park, behind the cricket pitches
- Friday September 3rd - Angram Bank Community Centre at High Green
- Saturday September 4th - Coronation Park at Outibridge
