South Yorkshire Safer Neighbourhood Teams

Staff from Rother Valley West SNT continuously endeaver to provide an accessible and visible service to the communities we serve.

Our aim is to provide a coherant and sustained approach to community policing, thereby reducing the demand on reactive policing resources.

The excessive consumption of alcohol is often a common denominator revolving around Anti-Social Behaviour. This can then result in people engaging in actions which under normal circumstances they would not do.

Inevitably this can create alarm, harassment and distress to others and sometimes even lead to certain individuals carrying out criminal activities.
