NEW POLICE QUAD PATROL
Wentworth North have been donated a Quad Bike formally known as an ATV ( All Terrain Vehicle). It has been donated by the manufacter Kymco. The 400cc MXU is a new tool to tackle crime and antisocial behaviour in areas that have traditionally been difficult to reach. The Quad is driven by PC Brett Thompson and PC Craig White who have received specialist traning. The Quad has been regularly patrolling Manvers Lakeside and Creighton Woods proving a high visibilty patrol in line with PACT areas.
The Police Quad bike made an appearance at Rotherham Show on the 11th and 12th September. It created a huge intrest from all ages of people who had a chance to sit on the vehicle and sometimes even try out the blue lights and siren.
