SNT Receives Award from High Sherriff of South Yorkshire
The High Sherriff of South Yorkshire paid a visit to Wentworth South Safer Neighbourhood Team on 26th August 2009. She was shown around the area and shown the work the SNT has done. This ranged from the various youth projects in the area to the larger projects such as the Chesterhill Avenue Project. The team explained the different ways in which the SNT worked and the different ways it proactively dealt with the issues raised by the community.
The High Sherriff was so impressed with the team and the work it has done and was continuing to do she presented them with an award.
The High Sherriff came to Rotherham this week to present the SNT with the award as pictured below.
