Update.

There have been numerous activities completed by Dodworth and Old Town SNT involving partner agencies throughout. The Cawthorne flats were visited and each and every tenant spoken to. This resulted in a number of tenants being moved to more suitable accomodation, some tenants receiving warnings from Berneslai homes and having tenancy agreements demoted. In some instances drugs related offences were revealed and dealt with appropriately by local officer PC 3300 Andrea BATTY.
Site surveys were completed at both sets of flats and a broken fire door mended as a result reducing access to area for anti-social behaviour.

A massive information gathering exercise resulted in identifying individuals responsible in the main for anti-social bahaviour at Cawthorne flats and Saville Road shops. They have all been visited and warned appropriately, with three arrests to reinforce the message being actioned. Any police actions have been followed up by Bernselai homes and in some cases familty intervention programme involving direct intervention with families and parents involved.
