We asked:

At the P.A.C.T. meeting in October 2010,what issues concerned you most in your area

The PACT (Partners And Communities Together) meeting for your area is held on the first Tuesday of the month from 6pm to 7pm at Oxspring Bank Community Centre, Oxspring Bank.  This is your chance to meet members of your local safer neighbourhood team and discuss issues that concern you about the area in which you live, and be a part of the tasking process for both the Police, and our partners who are also invited to the meeting to discuss issues that may not be a Policing matter.

What if I can’t attend a PACT meeting?

You can still get involved! Open the GET IN TOUCH section, which is situated on YOUR AREA site and e-mail your team with detail of what you want them to know. They will then keep you updated about what they are planning to do about it.

This is a new PACT priority as of 5th October 2010.

From Tuesday 26/10/10 to Tuesday 02/11/10, Police Officers & PCSO's conducted high visibility patrols in the area. We also continue to do joint patrols with Sheffield Council wardens within your area.

We have been stopping and engaging with any groups of youths in the area. If any of the youths have been causing anti-social behaviour we have been taking their details and starting the process with Parent Advisory Letters, which are the warnings before Anti-social Behaviour Contracts.
