Groups of youths causing anti-social behaviour around Coppin Square.
Both Police officers & PCSOs have completed a large amount of high visibility patrols in your area, taking a robust approach to anyone who appears likely to become engaged in any sort of anti-social behaviour. Details are taken and passed onto our Anti-Social Behaviour Team when the youths found are causing Anti-Social Behaviour.
Throughout August and some of September the Sheffield Street Based Teams will be focused on Coppin Square and the surrounding area. The teams aim to offer youths other things to do rather than hang about in large groups. The teams will be in place every Monday evening in August starting from the 1st and running until the 5th September between 6pm and 9pm.
High Visibilty patrols have been increased due this issue being raised and will contine throuout March 2012
