Patrols carried out throuhout the eveing period . Officers visited every licensed premise in this area . There was disorder at the White Hart pub and as a result Police requested that the licensed activity stop, which it did.
2 males were stopped drinking in the street and they handed over their alcohol.

Public order patrols carried out in this area until 3 am. There were a couple of fights in the market place.
3 males were stopped from drinking in the street.
1 male was fined for possessing cannabis.
1 male age 18 had his 4 cans of alcohol confiscated due to him being with persons unber 18 who was dringing alcohol-this was also seized.

Officer have posted letters at business premises and dwellings in this area informing them that this area is a priority.
There have been np ASB related calls in this area since this was set as a priority.

SNT officers were called to youths playing football against shop premises. Youths were still present and the ball confiscated.

A constructive meeting was held today with the license holder of a problematic premises, as a result we should hopefully see no more issues late at night from this premise.

As a result of patrols in this area a faulty street was identified and a request made for it to be repaired. There have been no other incidents reported.
2 parking advisory notices were left with parked vehicles which had parked without displaying correct authorization.
A notice was served on the driver of a vehicle following the vehicle been caught on CCTV during the early of 23/12. The driver was seen travelling through Thorne with a passenger on his bonnet. The notice that was served means that should either the driver or the vehicle drive/be used in an anti social manner again then the vehicle WILL be seized.

Youths were reported playing football on Finkle street, they were located and football seized.

Public order patrols carried out in this area from 6pm until 4 am. Not a great deal to report although there were a couple of reports of fighting at the rear of Bar None. Upon arrival all was quiet.

Public order patrols carried out in this area from 6pm-4am. A much busier night with it being New Years Eve.
4 units of alcohol were taken from poeple.
3 section 27 notices were issues( these notices force people causing problems to leave an area within a specific time and if they dont they may be arrested)
3 males were issues £80 on the spot fines for being drunk and disorderley.

WHILST ON PAROL OFFICER WERE CALLED TO A REPORT OF YOUTHS DAMAGING A BUS STOP. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE ALTHOUGH ALL YOUTH PRESENT WILL RECEIVE ASB LETTERS DUE TO THEIR BEHAVIOUR.

A test purchase operation was held this week in the area and 2 premises in Torne Town centre failed. these were licensed public houses and they were issued with on the spot penaties of £80.
There has been a reduction in the amount of call received by SYP in relation to this area.

Since the downfall of snow there have been quite a few incidents of snowballing in the town centre.
However despite this ASB calls are down 30.1% and criminal damage is down 39.6%.

7 youths issued with section 27 dispersal orders and told to leave the area.

Enquiries are being made with the DMBC camera suite in relation to footage of youths who have been stopping buses and throwing stones.

Foot parol of the area carried out through the day. sevearl people complained of the youth who were gathering on an evening once the youth club was closed. We will be speaking to the youth club in relation to this.
A male was spoken to at home in the presence of his parents in relation to his involvement with bus interference. An ABC report has been submitted.

A trojan bus operation was held this evening in the Thorne area . As a result of males and females were chased as they tried to turn the bus engine off. these people were detained and their parents called out and told what their childrem had been up to.
Later the same evening the bus was following a vehicle as it hit a stationay car. The driver was arrested as he was suspected of driving whilst unfit through drugs.

NRT officers attend a report of youths on the roof of the Post Office and another group kicking a ball against shop windows.. No one was seen but the NRT remained in the area.

the SNT had a high presence in this area all afternoon and evening. nothing was reported due to the early intervention work carried out.

A male was arrested for threatening behaviour this evening at a local pub. the male has been charged and SYP will be applying for a drinks banning order in respect of this male.

At the pubwatch meeting today the local licencees expressed their concerns at the number of problems being caued by some undesirables in the pubs on an evening. plans are being put in place to tackle this issue which will involve public order vans on patrol and also the DMBC camera vans.

Mobile patrols carried out in the town centre due to issues raised in relation to a local pub. Thie pub was subsequently forced to close due to issues with the license. There were no issues raised through out patrols.

Foot patrols carried out through the shift. Officers called to investigate suspicious behaviour at the rear of Cooplands, turned out to be nothing. 1 advisory notice issued on a vehiocle not displaying a disability pass on double yellow lines on Horsefair Green.

As a result of acting upon information received whilst on patrol in this area officers executed a drugs warrant today at an address in the Thorne area. A quantity of cocaine and cannabis was recovered and a male arrested. This male has subsequently been charged with drug offences and will appear at Doncaster magistrates court at a future date.

Patrols of Thorne Town centre carried out for most of the evening. No youths were seen in the area until9.15pm when youths were seen playing football against shop windows, their ball was seized and they were told to collect it from Thorne Police station in the morning-it is still there.

Other than moving a large group away from the Market place there wasst really much to report on. SNT police officers carried out public order patrols until 2am visiting numerous pubs in the town centres. there were no issues and we were well recived by all those having a night out.

Joint patrols carried out with DMBC. No youths seen in the town centre until 7pm and again at 9pm which coincide with the youth club opening times. SNT police officers again patrolled until 2 am. the only incident attended was to a male causing problems at the Bar None. He was calmed down and taken home due to him having a bloody nose(not caused by us).

This evening 2 bus shelters were damaged by groups of youths. enqs are being made with the CCTV suite to assertain who the offenders are.

Again there have been large numbers of youths gathering in Thorne town centre although no damages. One named male is to be spoken to in relation to throwing stones at a residential property.

A male was detained for theft on Finkle street. It transpired that we couldnt prove that the items were stolen so he was realeased without charge.

Quite a bit is disruption in the area today due to a funeral at a local church. Several road closures were put in place and Policing was increased from 8am until midnight. There were no issues reported at all.

We carried out public order patrols again until midnight, nothing to report and most happy to see the Police in Thorne town centre.
