A 2010 resident on Oak Road attended Rotherham Court on the 10th May 2010 as a result of a long standing case involving excessive noise and anti social behaviour. The court sentenced the tenant to a four week suspended prison sentence. This is the first case of its kind in Rotherham whereby a tenant has been issued with a custodial sentence.

A 2010 resident was arrested on the 1st may for criminal damage to 2010 property. She was charged with the offence and is due to appear in court. The resident is currently under investigation from 2010 and the council noise nuisance team. The case is on going.

The Oak Tree public House has been subject of investigation for nuisance behaviour on their premises. The case is with the council noise nuisance team and the licensing team are formulating an action plan to encourage responsible business practices
