Rotherham Camera safety partnership deployed on the 26th April 2010 due to complaints regarding excessive speed from local residents. The camera was deployed for a five hour period and during that period there were 58 offences recorded. 17 were advisory letters and there were 41 speeding fines issued. Due to the high number of offences recorded further initiatives will be planned along with an education programme on the 10th June 2010.
RSPCA referral regarding a nuisance/neglected dog within a flat complex.
5 persons arrested for assault after a party at a flat on Grange Road. All 5 are on bail for the offence and awaiting identification procedures. As a result of the incident the council noise nuisance team has been involved in progressing the case against the tenant. The tenant has been issued with a warning letter regarding nuisance in a 2010 property.
The occupants of a 2010 premises were evicted on the 4th May as a result of cultivating cannabis within the premises along with other criminal activity.
Two persons have been arrested for damage to a 2010 building on Grange Road. They are currently on police bail.
