Based at Ecclesfield Police Station, this Safer Neighbourhood Team is led by Insp Steve Mouzer. The team consists of Police Officers, Police Community Support Officers, Special Constables, a Children and Young Persons Officer, and a Safer Neighbourhoods Officer. My teams - in conjunction with other partner agencies, are here to serve the needs of the local community. Putting community issues, needs & priorities at the heart of everything we do.
For us this means listening to what our communities are telling us and tailoring our response appropriately.
For you this means engagement at a local level enabling a sustainable solution focused partnership approach to tackle neighborhood issues that are dear to your heart.”

We aim to reduce local crime, bring more offenders to justice, & address quality of life issues through a problem-solving approach with communities.
